Blended Learning: Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED

The Blended Learning Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course provides flexible, comprehensive training for individuals who work with infants and children. This program combines online learning with an in-person skills session led by an American Heart Association (AHA) certified Instructor, giving participants both convenience and hands-on experience.

Course Format:
Training is completed in two parts:
1.Online Course (approximately 4 hours) – completed in advance, at your own pace.
2.In-Person Skills Session – conducted by an AHA Instructor, focused on practice and testing of essential lifesaving skills.

🗓 Registration & Course Process:

• Choose your preferred skills session date and time to register.
• You will receive the AHA online course link about one week before your scheduled skills session.
• The online course must be completed in full prior to attending your in-person session.
• Please enter the student’s email address correctly when registering, as the course link is sent directly to that email.

Session Details:

• Your in-person appointment lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
• This includes time to practice skills, ask questions, and complete the required skills test.
• Please arrive on time and contact us in advance if you need to reschedule, as spaces are limited.

What You’ll Learn:

• CPR for infants and children (adult CPR optional)
• Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• How to respond to choking emergencies (conscious and unconscious)
• First aid techniques for common medical, injury, and environmental emergencies

Certification:
Upon successful completion of both the online and in-person components, participants will earn an American Heart Association Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certification card, valid for 2 years.
